According to the organisers, AfricaCom is the place to meet everybody who’s anybody in African telecoms and technology; bringing together 15 000 attendees, 450 speakers and 500 exhibitors.
The event will cover topics suited to everyone’s field of expertise; from connectivity infrastructure and disruptive technologies to digital services and ICT strategy.

AfricaCom: When and where
The event takes place from 12 to 14 November at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on 1 Lower Long Street in Cape Town.
AfricaCom is co-located with Mission Critical Technologies Africa, “an event dedicated to critical connectivity”, as well as Video Exchange Africa, “an event focused on video distribution and content strategy”.

Be inspired by Africa’s most prominent ICT thought-leaders. The list includes MTN CEO Rob Shuter, as well as the minister of communications Stella Tembisa Ndabeni-Abrahams.
In addition, the provincial minister of education in the Western Cape, Debbie Shafer, will also be in attendance, along with Grindrod Bank chief technology officer, Unathi Mtya.

AfricaCom: Women in Tech
Women in Tech Centre Stage Takeover will showcase and celebrate women “at the forefront of Africa’s digital transformation”. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 12 November, at the CTICC.
Attendees can look forward to presentations and discussions from tech superstars. The organisers explain:
