Samsung S21 series will reportedly feature re-designed camera system

We have a treat for the Samsung fans! Let’s Go Digital will next week publish a series of highly-detailed product renders of the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S21 series.

The information used to create the renders came from an exclusive interview with an insider. The showcase will focus on three models: the Samsung Galaxy S21, the S21 Plus and the S21 Ultra.

Exclusive renders

The Samsung S20 Plus and S20 Ultra already knocked our socks off, and we’re excited to see what Samsung has in store for the next flagship series.

Do note: this is not an announcement of Samsung’s upcoming flagship series. Let’s Go Digital will simply be giving you a sneak peek of what the devices could look like, based on trusted sources.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 will likely only be announced by Samsung itself in January 2021. (We hope). If that’s the case, it will be a month earlier than usual. Samsung announced the S20 series back in February 2020.

You might have seen several renders of the S21 series already floating around the interwebs. This new series of renders will be more accurate because it’s based on reliable information from a Samsung insider.

When will the renders be published?

Let’s Go Digital have seen the devices already, but cannot publish the leaked images at this time. Therefore, a series of render will have to do for now. The LGD team explained:

“To protect our source, which is closely associated with Samsung Electronics, we regret that we cannot post these images online. The LetsGoDigital design team is currently engaged in the creation of highly detailed, high-resolution images, based on the information we have received”.

The renders will be published on Monday, 7 December, so watch this space! All images used will be created by Let’s Go Digital’s in-house designer, Giuseppe Spinelli aka Snoreyn.

We can’t wait to feast our eyes on the S21 series. The camera system has reportedly been redesigned. The S21 series will also feature a notable change with regards to Samsung’s stylus, the S-Pen.

What to expect

The S21 will be compatible with the S Pen, but instead of shipping as a standard accessory, it will now be optional. Users can therefore choose whether they want to invest in an S Pen or not.

According to Let’s Go Digital, the Galaxy S21 series will be unveiled on 14 January 2021 during Samsung’s first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. Pre-orders will open soon after.

The devices will reportedly ship on Friday, 29 January 2021. That said, some experts predict that the S21 will only be released in February. There’s also CES to factor in.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) kicks off from Monday, 11 January 2021. The world’s biggest electronics show will take place digitally due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

If Samsung was going to surprise us with an S21 announcement, the CES would be the perfect place to do it. Exciting times! For now, this image below is all we get to see. Check back on 7 December 2020 for more.
