The theme of Huawei’s Developer’s Conference is fitting: Innovation Inspires Serendipity. In line with that, Huawei unveiled six new all-scenario products “that make life easier and smarter”.
The keynote address was delivered by Richard Yu, Executive Director and CEO of Huawei Consumer BG, during which Yu reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to the All-scenario Seamless AI Life Strategy.
Huawei Developer’s Conference – New products
The lineup of products are all designed to bring a more cohesive connected experience to consumers in their everyday lives, in scenarios ranging from work, health and fitness to audio entertainment. Yu explained.
“Great user experiences are always founded on innovation, but our journey of innovation always begins and ends with consumers. In future, we will continue working with our valued partners to offer more smart and high-quality experiences to consumers worldwide”.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro
Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro are the “world’s first true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones” and delivers the “best noise-cancelling performance yet on a Huawei audio product with an industry-leading noise cancellation rating of 40dB”.
Users can choose between three profiles – General, Cosy and Ultimate – to offer the optimal noise-cancelling performance. Furthermore, Dual Connection with Android, iOS and Windows smart systems means users can seamlessly switch between devices without being tied to one brand.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro will be available from October 2020.
Huawei also unveiled the FreeLace Pro which offers great audio, stylish design and supports noise cancellation up to 40dB, coupled with “industry-leading algorithms to provide stable noise-cancelling performance in any situation.”
Pair and charge the FreeLace Pro with Huawei’s HiPair to save time. Most importantly, a five-minute charge gives enough battery to sustain five hours of music playback, and a full charge offers a full day’s use.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro
The Huawei Watch has all the features that customers have come to love about the GT series, and then some. Now upgraded to deliver two weeks worth of battery life and more than 100 workout modes, the GT 2 Pro is in a class of its own.
Some of the new workout modes include Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding and Golf Driving Range. The watch retains its rugged design featuring premium materials – a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case and skin-friendly ceramic case back.
Huawei Watch FIT
Huawei also announced the Watch FIT. The latest addition to the company’s wearable product lineup comes complete with striking aesthetics, new fitness data tracking features and workout modes.
The lightweight Watch FIT – coming in at only 34g – “feels as light as a sports wristband” and supports the newly upgraded TruSeen 4.0 heart rate technology to provide more accurate 24-hour heart monitoring.
It’s now easier than ever to track changes in blood oxygen, sleep and stress conditions. Moreover, the Watch FIT supports Huawei fast-charging technology and the battery will last up to 10 days in typical scenarios.
Huawei MateBook X
Huawei unveiled two new lightweight notebooks to revolutionise mobile productivity “with compact form factors and smart experiences enabled by the innovative Huawei Share feature”.
“The MateBook X combines the flagship series’ iconic design and innovative technology with an improved lightweight design and smart features”.
Weighing only 1kg and measuring 13.6mm at its thickest part, the lightweight notebook “is smaller than a piece of A4 paper”, making it perfect for business trips and remote working. You won’t eve notices it in that backpack.
Huawei MateBook 14
The MateBook 14 is described as “the benchmark of high-performance laptops in the era of mobile productivity 3.0”. It features a “highly portable design” coupled with powerful performance.
And when we say powerful, we mean powerful. The MateBook 14 is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 4000 H Series processor. Another on-the-road device, the MateBook 14 supports smart features including Multi-screen Collaboration.
The Huawei Classic Backpack comes in two sizes – 8.5L and 11L – and will be available in Forest Green and Graphite Black. Both the MateBook X and MateBook 14 will be available from October 2020.
